At NA Management, excellence is our standard. Follow these professional self-tape guidelines to ensure your submission stands out and reflects your commitment to excellence.

1. SLATE INSTRUCTION

• Start with a Slate (unless stated otherwise):

  • Full Name

  • Height

  • Location (City, State/Country)

  • Optional: Age (only if requested)

  • Representation: "I am Represented by NA Management"

  • Two fun facts about you

  • state " I look forward to connecting with you"

📌 Example:
"Hi, my name is Jane Doe. I’m 5’9”, based in Dallas, Texas, and represented by NA Management."














 

2. TECHNICAL SETUP

• Camera: Use a smartphone (HD setting 1080p or higher) or DSLR.

• Orientation: Always film horizontally, unless otherwise specified.

• Stability: Use a tripod or stable surface—no handheld or shaky footage.

• Framing:

  • Slate: Mid-body or full body.

  • Monologue/Scene: Chest-up (medium close-up) with headroom.

• Lighting: Natural light or a soft ring light. Make sure your face is well-lit without harsh shadows.

• Background: Use a plain, neutral-colored wall (gray, blue, or white preferred). No distractions in the background.

• Audio: Clear and crisp. Avoid echo or background noise. Use a mic if possible.
  
   

3. PERFORMANCE

• Memorize Your Lines: Avoid reading off scripts. Authenticity is key.

• Eye Line: Look just off-camera, not directly into it (unless specified).

• Wardrobe: Wear solid, fitted colors (no logos, graphics, or patterns). Dress to suggest the character.

• Energy & Emotion: Be truthful, connected, and grounded. Avoid overacting.
  
   

4. LENGTH & FORMAT

• Keep videos concise and within the requested time.

• File Format: MP4 or MOV preferred.

• Label Your Files:

  • Format: FirstName_LastName_RoleName_ProjectName.mp4
    
     

 5. DELIVERY

• Submit your self-tape to the email or platform indicated.

• If uploading to a platform (e.g., WeTransfer, Vimeo, Dropbox), ensure the link:

  • Is downloadable

  • Does not expire (3 -days availabilty is fine)

  • Is unlisted (if public)
